Today's speaker was Gina Rossi from French Chiropractic and Wellness Center.  She talked about the benefits of receiving chiropractic care, and the prevalence rates of back and neck pain in everyone's lifetime (80% and 1 in 3, respectively).  As the average life expectancy increases (from in the 40s in the early 1900s to an estimated 100 years or more in the next generation or two).  About 50% of mobility is lost at the age of 50, which makes taking care of your back and your body very important, in terms of maintaining as much mobility in later life as possible.  French Chiropractic and Wellness Center is having an Open House this Thursday, April 16th, from 1:30 to 3:30 - all are invited to come and see the office, meet the doctors, and find out what chiropractic care is about.  Their address is 6166 North Ridge Road, in Madison, and more information can be found on their website: www.frenchchiropractic.com.
