Koinonia Camp's annual fundraiser on Saturday was such a success that our own member Randy Brookes had to kiss a horse. Randy said if they sold all 1,500 tickets for the duck race on the 4th he would kiss a horse on the mouth. The proceeds of this event will go to their scholarship fund to help kids get to camp who couldn't otherwise afford it.
The horse puckering up for a big kiss on the lips.
Way to go Randy and Koinonia Camp!

2024 Drama Awards were presented on May 7, 2024
Robert E. Tishcer started the drama awards 49 years ago. He wanted to recognize those high school students in the plays for all of their hard work and dedication in performing and the stage crews for putting on the plays each year. This year his son Bryce and family donated $1,000, Painesville and Mentor Rotary also work together to donate to the 5 scholarships that were awarded. Thanks go to all of the Rotary members who attended the plays and voted for the actors and stage crew. A special thanks goes to Susan Schofield Fratino (Painesville Rotary) and Bruce Wilson (Mentor Rotary) for all of their hard work at the plays and organizing this awards ceremony! Here are few pictures from the ceremony that took place May 7, 2024 at Perry High School.
There are more photos from the ceremony in the photo album titled 2024 Drama Awards on this page.
